Karl Friedrich Lessing - Klosterhof im Schnee (1830)
I saw him in my school book. It looked like a photograph. And so was born my desire to learn more about the author of this work. 
This is Karl Friedrich Lessing, a painter of the late German Romanticism. And the painting on canvas "The monastery in the snow 
"That you can see in the picture above, in a way to condense the predominant themes in the paintings of Lessing: the love for history, for poetry and for nature studies. If you see his other works, you can in fact see with your own eyes that Lessing painted mostly landscapes and historical subjects.
