OPEN LETTER TO DIRECTORS OF DOMODOSSOLA
During the last session of the council domes (I am sorry that this has no journalist reported the news), prompted by the agenda of the Democratic Party on the issue of privatization of water management, some members of the majority stated that they share that access to clean drinking water should be a right for all, and so on. etc.. Moving from the level of principle than of practice, however, began the distinction: "The public administration must not be a dogma", "is not true that public management is the best choice," said some (Marinello, Pizzi, Glionna, etc.)..
the end, however, the order of the day is past, with the abstention of the entire majority, on the grounds that the order of the day claimed the public management throughout the VCO, while the majority wanted ... limited to only Ossola (read the territory of possible future competence Idrablu)!
I understand the difficulty by members of the majority being members of political parties (PDL and Lega Nord) in Parliament had to follow orders the lobby privatized, however, without even having the opportunity to ask the correct, because the government has imposed vote of confidence. Keep your foot in both camps is always difficult ...
On the law just approved and 'having to specify it obliges companies to sell, in whole or in part, their actions on individuals.
AND 'FALSE to believe that local authorities still have the option to choose the type of management you want. THERE IS MORE 'NO RIGHT' CHOICE!
Where are all those who one day and one also speak of "subsidiarity principle" of "federalism" and "local autonomy"?
What consolation would be able to get around the obstacle using a system of exemption, however, limit solely Ossola, forgetting all the other territories ...
Who is talking about dogma, it does not say that the majority of privatized the dogma of the market?
For years, we continue to privatize, to dismantle parts of "public affairs", painstakingly built by our forefathers in the past decades, with the result that we have achieved a system of private profit guaranteed by law (see highways, energy electricity, telecommunications, and also, alas, the privatized water services already in some parts of Italy). The improved services and lower costs have proved a mirage, only useful to make a fool of us citizens!
Just camp with the excuse of some bad public management. We want to mention the many cases of disastrous private management? And the increasing number of cases of return to the public (eg Paris, Grenoble, Monaco, etc.).?
I am the first to agree on many issues and problems of public management and that is why I do everything to change things, relying on the responsibilities of managers public and asking for the application of the laws.
Some, however, as Marinello, argue that the choice of private management is needed where the public are disastrous (with - of course - save Idrablu!). But if we follow this logic, we should now put on the market sectors: education, health, defense, etc.. In fact someone is trying for some time without being able ... for now!
Show us your courage and your independence of thought: Be prepared to go through fund against the privatization of water management or, at least, REALLY want to ensure that all local authorities FREEDOM 'to choose the best form of management of water!
Oppose the application of measures of so-called "Ronchi Decree", as many of your colleagues in other parts of Italy, joined the campaign "Save Water" sponsored by the Forum of Water Movements (www.acquabenecomune.org).
